Referral and affiliate disclosure
Westcoast-Tree.org is free to read. When you call the phone number shown on the site, the call is routed to a tree service that takes jobs in your area, and we may be paid a referral fee for that call.
How the referral works
The number on every page is a tracked line. A call to it reaches a tree service that covers the caller’s area. The company that takes the call pays for the referral. You pay nothing extra for using the number, and you are never obliged to hire anyone.
What we do not do
- We do not perform tree work.
- We do not vet, license, insure, employ or guarantee any tree service, including the one that answers the call.
- We do not take payment to change permit rules, storm data, cost models or any other fact on the site.
- We do not run quote forms or collect your contact details.
Before you hire anyone, check the license yourself: Oregon license lookup guide · Washington license lookup guide. The eight checks at the bottom of each page apply to every company.
How we keep content independent
Facts come from public sources (city codes, state statutes, NOAA, FEMA, BLS, Census, USDA, utilities), each listed with its link and the date it was checked. Cost figures are modeled from public wage data, not from any company’s prices; see how we build our numbers.
FTC note
This disclosure is provided in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidance that material connections between a website and the businesses it refers readers to should be disclosed clearly. A short version appears at the end of every page and in the site footer.
